Marjorie Ann Repmann (Pauls), 83, of Laurence Harbor NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Marjorie, the daughter of the late Margaret Theresa Plaska Pauls and the late Chester B. Pauls, was born March 11, 1942, in Elizabeth, NJ. She resided in Linden, where she graduated from Linden High School in 1960 and moved to Laurence Harbor with her husband, Carl in 1968.
Marjorie was a caring and devoted wife to her high school sweetheart, Carl, for 63 years, a loving mother to her four children William “Bill” Repmann, Dennis Repmann (Joyce Winkler Repmann), Susan Vanscovich (Paul) and Maureen Repmann and a doting grandmother to her seven grandchildren, Lucas Vanscovich, Lauren Repmann Burns (Joseph Burns), Zachary Vanscovich, Jacob Ross, Christopher Repmann, Jason Repmann and Victoria Vanscovich. Marjorie is also survived by her brother, Chet Pauls, her nephew, Steven Pauls, her niece, Margaret Pauls, her sister-in-law, June Repmann and Marjorie’s many cousins and extended family members.
A loyal homemaker, Marjorie was known for her profound devotion to her family, its heritage and many traditions. Marjorie always went above and beyond to ensure that holidays, family reunions, special ceremonies and occasions were celebrated and commemorated in the most special, creative and unique ways. Her handmade gifts to her loved ones were countless and coveted. She was admired for her artistic and creative talents, which were showcased by the many blankets, costumes, veils, dresses and numerous other original pieces and crafts made special by her throughout her lifetime. Marjorie was also an outstanding cook who enjoyed making and sharing many of her famous family recipes. She treasured family time around the kitchen table and just like her parents before her, loved her sweet treats after every meal. A very intelligent and skilled woman herself, Marjorie raised her four children to understand the importance of hard work, the value of an education, the need to be resilient, have confidence in oneself and, most importantly, to have limitless love for and commitment to family. In addition to cooking, crafting and sewing, being a Cub Scouts den mother in Old Bridge and a gymnastics judge for many years, Marjorie loved her plants and flowers and thoroughly enjoyed her many trips to Atlantic City, NJ. Her enormous love for and contributions to family and friends have been deeply felt and Marjorie will be dearly missed.
